About this place
Faro is the capital of the Algarve. Capital is not exactly the right word for Faro because Faro is only a small city with a pleasant center. This city is definitely worth a visit, many tourists land and depart here alone and do not visit the center and that is a shame. Faro is not large, but has a pleasant center with a number of beautiful old shopping streets.

The old and walled part is also worth a look. There are a few nice restaurants here where you can have a delicious lunch or dinner. In the summer there are various festivals and music performances and there is a pleasant atmosphere.
