In Portugal you usually have two different types of markets. The 'normal' food market with vegetables, fruit, meat and fresh fish, but also the flea markets where you can find the craziest things. Beautiful antique items, toys, clothing, car parts and so on. Below we provide an overview of where and when the (junk) markets are. There are no 'normal food markets' on Sundays.

Tip: There is no fishing on Sundays, so there is always very limited fresh fish on Mondays.
