Bone-dry Wine Tasting

The ultimate holiday feeling often starts with a good glass of wine. But which wine?

My name is Harm Heijmerink, and during my wine tastings, I answer all your (Portuguese) wine questions in a fresh, enthusiastic, and relaxed way, such as: What is wine actually? How is it made? Which wine suits the moment? And perhaps the most important question: What do you like?

Whether you are just starting to drink wine or are already a seasoned enthusiast, my goal is simple:

to enthuse you and guide you through the fascinating world of wine .

What can you expect?

During the 2 to 2.5-hour workshop, you will taste several Portigese wines from different regions, each with its own story. You will receive an explanation of the origin, grape varieties, and style—all embedded in a broader, understandable narrative about wine. A light snack (chouriço and cheese) and crackers will be provided to neutralize the taste.

There are 2 tasting options:

1: At your location (within a radius of 25 km from Moncarapacho)*

see price list photo

Or 2: Open Tasting at Quinta Jabuti (Moncarapacho)*

  • Every Thursday (June - September) starts at 20:30

  • Starts from 6 participants

  • Maximum 18 people

  • Registration is mandatory via WhatsApp - at least 3 days in advance.

  • Cost €32.50 pp with 10 wines

The tastings can be given in Dutch and English.
